Very disappointing. How this restaurant gets good reviews is a mystery. Our tartiflette was microwaved. It makes me sad just typing that out. It was hot on the perimeter of the tartiflette, and it got colder as you reached the centre. The very middle was cold as ice. No golden brown on top, just microwaved cheese. Absolutely pathetic, and the most ironic part of it all is that it took AGES for it to arrive at our table. In that amount of time the chef couldve just thrown it into the oven?!?! Service was also WEIRD. The guy refused to take our order for an hour. Even when we made eye contact with him, he ran away and started talking to some guy in the kitchen. Very weird. Very annoying. Ce lieu semble avoir changé de nom et n'est plus appelé la Grillade. Je suppose que la propriété a également changé car la qualité n'a pas été maintenue. Par exemple, la soupe à l'oignon que nous avons eue a été servie sans fromage mais surtout sans saveur et excessivement salée. De même pour les viandes servies avec le plat principal, des viandes de qualité inférieure. Les prix sont bas par rapport à l'environnement, mais toujours trop élevés par rapport à la qualité.
As it was our chefs night off we went to look around where to eat ,in Brides most menus are in French so we gave up searching for an English one .We walked in the waiter did speak some English and was able to explain the menu so we ordered two burgers orange juice and a large beer. Food was fantastic so tasty best burger we had in a while ..beer was large too...so glad we ended up here would definitely recommend this place
New ownership ran by two lovely French women. One explained to us there is 100 seats for the two of them so the service was a little slow. The atmosphere in their was incredible, the selection of wine was great and reasonably priced. We had the beef fondue with red wine and it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nous avons visité cet endroit deux fois, les deux fois sans réservation et avons été accueillis à chaque fois, même en période chargée. Les portions étaient généreuses et le menu très varié. Il y avait une longue attente pour prendre notre commande, mais le goût de la nourriture a compensé l'attente. Bel endroit et atmosphère cosy.
Ate in the La Grillade a couple of nights. The first night was very quiet and the service was very quick and efficient and the steak and tartiflette were excellent, with a pleasant local wine. We had a fondue on the second visit which was good as well but the restaurant was very busy and the staff were spread a little thin
We had a lovely meal the night we arrived in Brides le Bain. We enjoyed the range of food offered on the menu. We managed to keep everyone in our party happy.
Great Italian Good pizza and great with kids Good service We have been several times in winter and Summer and always enjoyed the food. Recommend

Très bon restaurant. Nous nous sommes arrêtés ici uniquement pour prendre un café, mais le reste du menu a l'air excellent.
