This is NOT the first review of this restaurant. There are plenty of other reviews under its misspelled listing. In case you think I have got the spelling wrong, have a look at the photos on the misspelled listing. Amazingly, I got TA to list this under the correct spelling but instead of correcting the spelling of the earlier listing, we now have a new listing. Still, that's TA for you. It's a business and only accidentally a review site. The food is definitely Spanish rustic. Plenty of choice, well cooked and the presentation is fine. We had salads and an assiette of meats for entrees. Rather big salads but well constructed and with a tasty dressing. The salad which came with the main course tortilla was rather too coarse for our tastes but the paella was as good as can be found in Spain. Neither of the waiters spoke any English but we got by. The restaurant was full and we noted diners without reservations being turned away on a Tuesday evening in late August, so be aware that despite its isolation, it is a popular restaurant with mostly locals. Because it was so busy there was a lengthy wait before our dessert orders were taken and another wait for them to be delivered. Two of our party of five were children and they didn't find much on the menu to their liking. When we visited, the first page of the menu was a page advertising this business for sale. I hope the proprietor is successful in making a successful sale because it is a fine addition to dining in this area of rural France.
