From our table we could see the lake which you can swim in, the forested mountains and the blue sky. It was a hot day and most of the other people seemed to be local. We had had some difficulty finding this place but it was worth it. Gutsy flavours, well presented, great French / Catalan local cooking, the staff all working cheerfully and hard to provide quick service. Superb calamari, proper skinny chips from potatoes, not frozen, but try the cooked vegetables starter, Delicious and so simple. Loads of flavour. Then a walk round the lake after, watching people zip wiring from the trees over the water. Perfect lunch. Amazing scenery.

This little open-air restaurant, open end of May until end of September, is based on the traditional Guingetta ie family get-together with food , music and dancing (dancing just on Sundays ). The setting is superb, on the edge of the lake overlooking Les Alberes mountains. The food is reasonable quality and plentiful, based on Catalan cuisine rather than French.Well worth a visit, even if just to watch the locals dancing on the open air dance floor on Sunday afternoons.
ils ont appelé ici plusieurs fois car le lac est un endroit fantastique pour passer la nuit avec le camping-car ! une table pour leur soirée musicale qui est toujours pleine, un dîner fantastique et un groupe live. super soirée en amoureux !
Have called in here a few times as the lake is a fantastic overnight spot with the camper! Booked a table for their music evening, which is always full, fantastic food great service and a live band. Great date night!
encore une fois nous avons passé un très bon moment à la guinguette. l'atmosphère est très belle, les gens sont détendus et sympathiques et les repas sont de bon goût et très bien présentés. Essaye le!
