Endroit très agréable,très belle guinguette par contre il y avait de l accordéon et en mangeant je trouve que c est désagréable car trop fort. Salade de chèvre chaud déçu !!! Les toasts trop epais et trop croquants!! Grenouilles,carrément déçu on nous a servi 6 malheureuses grenouilles qui baignait dans le gras,les grenouilles c est ail,persil,beurre et au moins une douzaine! En vue des avis positifs,nous avons été tres déçu de la cuisine ce 16 septembre au soir pour mon anniversaire,je sais pas qui a préparé ces plats mais j aurai pu lui montrer comment on fait une vraie salade de chèvre chaud et comment on cuisine des grenouilles
We went about 12 on a Thursday and no problem getting a perfect table for two overlooking the river. We started with salads and boy were they large! Very good value. Mon amour enjoyed the chèvre (chaud) I had the salade ma façon which was incredible value for money €10 soooo much duck! Both had the steak for main chose the frites a la maison which we selected as it was from fresh potatoes but they were quick greasy would go for frites next time. Local wine €16 was worth it. Lovely service too.
Friends invited us to celebrate my husband's birthday... a set menu dinner with celtic music by a local Vendée group called Molly Malone. A lebanese taboulé salad with smoked salmon for a starter, delicious, tender beef kebabs with home made chips followed by an ice cream sundae. Not cordon bleu but a very nice meal in friendly surroundings with lovely waiters and waitresses... and then a good hour of brilliant music.
Can't understand some of the poor reviews of this place. Sure the menu is not as expansive as far more expensive restaurants but the food was excellent. Service from the young waitress was very good and a very pleasant evening was had. If you plan to dine on Michelin star quality food this isn't for you, but for simple grilled dishes it's absolutely fine.
