I came to this establishment having high expectations. I ordered the Pescado Tacos. OMG ICE COLD . The fish might as well should’ve been flopping on the plate! You would assume it would stop there, but NO. I asked the server about the fish and she told me they were going to take it back. WELL, she came back with the “new plate” and the first bite I took, I knew that it was microwaved. I didn’t drive 1.5 hours to come eat cold/ microwaved food. Point is DONT COME HERE! There’s a lot more BETTER Authentic Mexican restaurants nearby, the only thing La Hacienda has going for them is the atmosphere. The restaurant offers fantastic food and drinks that are perfect for the whole family. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and the experience has always been wonderful. I recently brought my family and in-laws, who are accustomed to Mexican food in the city, and they were all delighted with the quality of everything from the chips and salsa to their entrees, even to the glass of water.
