La Karafe - Réserver une table

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Monday evening and came across La Karafe.Ordered some tapas dishes and were given some great advice and recommendations on accompanying wines .We finished off with a plate of various cheeses and upon ordering we asked for 2 glasses of Rioja but were advised that a white would be better ,we were unconvinced but 2 glasses of white were brought over and they went superbly with the cheese.By coincidence he spent time working in the Lake District UK at a hotel we have frequented several times -its a small world.

Very good restaurant attentive staff great food, just by chance happened on this restaurant I had the St. Peter's fish cooked perfectly and vegetable royal classic French with a twist, and watched the Rugby too!!

We were in Bayonne for two days and tried all the recommended placesThis place quickly became our favorite place for local meats and wines.

Perfect evening with delicious food and wine accompanied by wonderfully helpful staff - very enjoyable and not expensive really!
