The truth is it's been a disappointment. our first visit in July to this restaurant was spectacular. the food, the attention they gave us at all times. for the experience we had, we recommended the restaurant to all our acquaintances. When we have gone today, with all the illusion to teach the place to a family, the feeling has been totally different. We have gone to eat and the place was half empty (normal, between week and low season).But despite that, we came in and we have been waiting until the two people of the service that were inside talked about so things to attend us, even though they had already seen us. I visited this restaurant with my family yesterday. I can see what the previous reviewer meant by ‘rude and tourists not welcome’ as it’s very much a locals restaurant. When we arrived we were a little put off by the lack of English speaking staff, one of whom seemed quite aloof. But we had a chat amongst ourselves about ‘Spanish culture’ and how we’re here to experience Spain, not England. And we decided to throw ourselves into it. 2h later we had eaten the most delicious meal and what a fantastic experience for my 3 children. We picked our own fish at the counter (clams, scallops, king prawns, white bait, octopus legs, baby squid) and took advice about how each should be cooked. Every dish...
The food was really good but the service was atrocious. All the waiters and waitresses just dumped the food and ran off. I could count on my hand the amount of words we exchanged when the food arrived. They never came back to ask if we wanted anything or if the food was good. They all paid no attention to us at all most likely because we were the only english people in there. Plus when we arrived our table that we booked outside had already been taken so we had to sit inside which was annoying to start off with. The prices were extortionate, they created their own prices for the food for us which was around 15% more expensive than the menu!

the fish is exposed as if it were a fishery. you can choose which piece you want. We've eaten zamburiñas, chipirones and a red shrimp rice. Everything was very good we chose an outside table. They didn't put us a tablecloth or changed the dishes that were on. a per person wouldn't be more than putting a tablecloth
Casual dining with excellent seafood appetizers and main courses specially rice dishes like paella , black rice , fideuá etc all fresh and made to order, excellent service and good prices.
exceptional place with excellent staff, all very friendly and we enjoy a lot when we are going to eat in family. the fresh and very good fish!
