A pretty horrible experience, overall. It was a Sunday night. We had 5:15 reservations for a nearby show that was to begin at 7:30. There were six of us. With less than a 10 minute drive to the theater we were confident we were giving ourselves plenty of time to get to the show, with a few minutes to spare. We arrived on time and our server came and took our drinks order at 5:30. But it was close to 6 o'clock before she returned to take our our order for dinner. At about 6:40 five of our six meals arrived. (With explanation for the missing entree, offered. Given the pinch of time, those who had their meals began eating. Meanwhile, the sixth person waited. This is one of my go to spots. My family was in town from NYC and I took them there. Seemed to have been some mixup with our table reservation which I made well in advance. They took on a birthday/holiday party which took up most of the dining room. Had I known that when I booked the reservation I would have landed else where. I would have taken them there another time. I requested a table near the window and away from the door (cold air) my mom is 87 and doesn't like sitting near the door. Where did they put us near the door and in the way of the register/appointment book. I called to inform We were going to be 15 minutes late! I was told Thank you for the call and there would be no problem seating us! When we arrived there was No One in sight to greet or seat us! The Woman in front of us had been waiting over 15 minutes to pick up her take out order! After 10 minutes, I said to my Wife ‘ Screw This ‘ They have no help here! We left and went to Bellini's for our 46th Wedding Anniversary and were treated the way one should from the Greeter to the Table to an Outstanding Waitress! Staff are lovely!And that's all the positives.Last time I came the food was horrible. This time I came to grab pizzas for an event. They were out of pizza boxes so each pizza was put in an open face to go box. They made one pizza at a time so , I'm walking out 4 cold pizzas. Absolute p show!! No acknowledgment, no consideration from the owner. In fact he got upset with the staff for selling pizza without checking for boxes. Not the way to run a restaurant. 0 for 2, not coming back Réservez une table maintenant
The best Italian food I’ve had in a while. Got the eggplant bolognese. It was outstanding. The stuffed shrimp was amazing as well. Best Pasta e fagoli I’ve ever had. Along with their bread and drinks. The only thing I would say is that they had told me to let them know next time that I didn’t want my spinach spicy, but who would’ve known it was spicy, usually spinach isn’t spicy. But overall phenomenal food. We will be back for sure!
