La Lupa - Réservation de table

I cannot put into words how much I love la lupa the food is so delicious, the staff are the nicest in the world, me and my boyfriend always choose here for a date night. They always remember everyone who has been before and ask you questions about whatever you told them last time, they show a real genuine interest in you and they are so thankful for your custom. Last time they designed a meal around me because I was unsure whether I would like the blue cheese sauce and it was SOOO GOOD mouth watering thinking about it!! great food! No mummicks. when entering it does not look as much as compared to other local restaurants. it's quite small and you could say that the decor is maybe dated. but if they sit down, they realize that the facility added to us feel like we really were in a small restaurant in italy. also the personal and the atmosphere created there were fantastic. for an hour we really felt like on holiday in italien, in a small caffe on a side street. la lupa doesn't try to be everything it isn't. perfect authentic Italian cuisine and it was delicious. in any case it will make our regular weekend. very fair. brilliant.

It’s a real shame to write this review as we’ve dined here many times. However here we go. Our party of of 9 dined recently. We were one of only 3 tables on a Saturday night, already very different from the packed venue we are used to. Food took 2 hours to come, was mediocre at best and some dishes were cold. We can only assume a change of kitchen personnel and really hope this gets back to how it used to be. We've eaten at this small family run Italian many times, something has clearly changed since our last visit. The service was appalling, took nearly 2 hours for the food to arrive, then it was cold, I ordered a coke and a lime and soda, both had no fizz at all.
