La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe

If you're in search of genuine and delightful French cuisine, you might want to keep searching. Although the staff created a welcoming and friendly environment, the food fell short of expectations. The eggs were overcooked, my omelet contained frozen rather than fresh spinach, and the baguette was so overdone that it was nearly inedible. The sauce on the French pasta was as watery as our tap water, and the croissants were flat and lacked their usual flaky texture. Even my macchiato had a pool of unmixed syrup sitting at the bottom of the cup. I had high hopes for this place, but sadly, I cannot recommend it to anyone familiar with true French cooking.

Updated July 13, 2022; this is my third update to this review. The food, staff and service have continued to improve since a really bad experience years ago. Today we were running errands in the area, and stopped in for breakfast. Although they were busy, the food came out promptly, warm, well seasoned, and very tasty. While we hesitated in the past to return, I can now safely recommend this location and we will be back! Thank you la Madeleine for making improvements at this location.

I was working from home and suddenly got really hungry, so I checked out Uber Eats and found this restaurant. I decided to place an order based on the pictures. To my delight, the food looked exactly like it did in the photos! I genuinely enjoyed my meal and will definitely be ordering again. Everything was perfectly arranged in the containers, and they were sealed tightly to ensure no one could tamper with the food. Thank you!

Wow! So we had a mens meeting this AM 7/9 with nearly 50 hungry men. Started @9 . We were wondering about the orders and service. No need. By the time orders were made and in line to pay the food had come out for most! The team here was fabulous. Food was good. The team was Caring and ensured we had all we needed: refills, clean-up and more?even dropped the AC for a room full of guys. Kudos! Réservez une table maintenant

I really enjoy the desserts at this restaurant, especially the crème brûlée and coconut cake. I don’t understand why they don’t always have the crème brûlée available since it's so delicious. I’m not a big fan of the sachertorte because I’m quite particular about chocolate. The staff could also be a bit friendlier. I missed out on the pesto salad, which is another one of my favorites here.

Super delicious breakfast we had this morning here at La Madeleine. Try the Ham and Cheese Savory Danish- it reminded me of our Venezuelan Pastelitos de Jamón y queso, from our bakeries. The coffee cappuccino is out of this world. I?ll be back

Wonderful service and even better food. We had several plates and they all tasted delicious. The hot chocolate is fantastic. The pastries are amazing, i love the almond croissant! Creme brulee is one of the best I've had

Enjoyed the avocado toast and their quiches are very large. Clean tables and plenty of room to dine in. The kale salad is tasty. If you don't want the lettuce base just tell them and they will add more kale Réservez une table maintenant
