We went as a family of 6 - 2 grandparents, parents, and 2 little monkeys. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We went a bit early but even when the datenight couples starting showing up the staff was very helpful and understanding, we never felt unwelcome with the little monkeys. The dinner was outstanding, duck 5 ways, a tiny duck anthology. Deserts were splendid too, as were the wines. A great night out!BTW my wife eats dairy free and gluten free and found great options and immensely enjoyed her dinner.
This Restaraunt is specialized in Duck, and it was absolutely delicious. I'm sure I'd regain this rat. I especially enjoyed her poutins (thick fat fried frits with duck in the engraving). It was my first time trying duck, so I can't compare it with other ducks, but I thought everything we got was amazing. The hostess was very friendly and attentive, even the coin we got after our meal was good! overall, a great experience
Book a reservation at La Maison du Magret during a recent trip to Montreal. The staff was very friendly and gave recommendations as my friend and I was not fully familiar with the menu and language. The food itself was perfectly prepared and worth the costs (we actually found a groupon that was worth so much more). Would highly recommend stopping.
This is the first place I ate when visiting Montreal for the first time, and it put the bar up. The decor is a quirky mix of rustic and robust, and the staff is very nice. Duck is the name of the game here. My duck soup was excellent like a light, duck chili like my duck confit.

Ok, I never had duck before but I have to say this was a great experience. We did a price fix menu and for $35 it was awesome. The salad was great. I had the duck burger which was big and filling and desert was awesome. Truly a great dinner. The staff so nice and friendly.
This was a friendly restaurant, good value, and very good duck. We had the table d'hote, starting with carrot soup. My husband had the duck burger with fois gras (extra cost) and I had the magret. Very tasty! Dessert was OK nothing very special. A nice Pays d'oc wine.
I really enjoyed this place. Duck served several different options. The best duck I've had for years. My French are terrible, but the waiting staff spoke English. I also recommend summer time because no person should be exposed to a Montreal winter!
We stop by there the other day. The AC was out so it was very hot. I do not know whether this affected my enjoyment of the meal. Overall, it is more than acceptabe but nothing spectacular.

I love duck! Especially Chinese styled BBQ duck so this place that serves all things duck definitely piqued my interest! Everything was wonderful.
