DO BELIEVE the bad reports here, we dropped in for lunch, after a good ski ing morning, the restaurant is at the bottom of the slope, just behind the gondola lift, so seemed a good spot to sit outside in the sun and enjoy lunch and watch the skiers etc go by. On the front was nice wooden benches, all set for the lunchtime clientel and apparently to the side was grey metal bench tables , not set , but for the self serve , fast food brigade.... As we walked in and began to look for a nice spot to sit, looking at the 3 waitresses who seemed to be idling away toward the back, to see if we needed to be shown to a table or be told nicely , oh sit anywhere etc, there was only the odd person in the restaurant area and a few more in the fast food area. SO NOT BUSY... One of the waitresses oddly just shouted across, what do you want ? I replied a table for lunch please, she then again shouted across to ask what ? I thought this to be quite odd as we had not seen a menu, but relied .. Oh probably some pizza and maybe french fries.... she then sharply replied and pointed to the grey fast food tables..... sit over there !!!!! thats the fast food area ??We did walk over and a young man , already sat.. said you need to go inside , order your food and it comes out of the adjacent hut , when a guy shouts its ready, and you have to fetch it.. !!!!!!i just looked at my girlfriend and said, I don't want that, I want to sit and have service... relax and have a proper restaurant service ... so we walked back into the "restaurant area" and chose our own table... the older more miserable looking woman came to us and I ordered drinks.. whilst we looked at the restaurant menu.... she was quite abrupt and bordering rude...We then ordered a nice pizza and a portion of french fries, which i expected to hear.. " yes sir, no problem" BUT NO she just retorted.... " IS THAT IT" , and walked away...... ???? Sorry we have woke you from you difficult hard working day... 95% of the tables was empty , it seemed a very strange atmosphere. A tall girl brought our drinks and was also quite miserable..... Another 2 couples came and sat at different tables, but was quickly despatched to the self serve area.... they looked a bit put out also.... then another group of four sat just behind us, the older miserable waitress came out and they asked if they could just order drinks as more of their party was yet to join them.. A weird conversation ensued whilst she tried to move them on to the self serve area and the guy couldn't get the drinks ordered ???? he did eventually get the drinks ordered after explaining that others were on their way and when they get there, they would all order food.....It seems they just didn't want to do any work..Back to us.. the pizza was quite nice but the french fries had been stood since last xmas I think.. all dried and wizzened.... not nice..... One quite young waitress was the only cvil person amongst them, but as for the others I have never experienced such rude and un attentive waitresses.......TO THE OWNER... SACK these miserable people, they are doing nothing for your business, Its not like the place was over run with diners...... when e arrived there was one old french guy who had ordered only a pizza ??? but he seemed to be talked to civily.. he also had another old guy join him, who seemingly ordered only a cup of coffee and he didn't get " is that it"Overall, pathetic...... stay well away from this rubbish restaurant and its very unhelpful and rude staff... so YES do believe the bad comments.......
Ne vous fiez pas à la devanture où il est mentionné "Maître Restaurateur"! Monsieur fait preuve de la plus grande autosuffisance et se complaît à expliquer à ses visiteurs de passage qu'ils ne comprennent rien à la cuisine savoyarde tandis que Madame n'a aucune idée de la définition du terme "client".Nous vous recommandons cette adresse si vous souhaitez vivre une expérience inoubliable ( pas culinaire) et qui allégera votre portefeuille, passez sinon votre chemin.Nous avons été les pigeons d'un soir, merci à La Mangeoire de nous l'avoir si bien fait comprendre... vous portez le discrédit sur toute une profession.
Voilà un restaurant avec un plat du jour à 9€50. Exceptionnel rapport qualité prix. Toujours un plat original, ça change un peu des fondues, raclettes etc .. Les plats sont faits"maison" et ça se sent ... je ne comprends pas certains avis défavorables, nous y déjeunons régulièrement et n'avons jamais été déçus.. Bien sûr, si vous êtes pressés et aimez manger à la va vite des produits non cuisinés, passez votre chemin et allez à la crêperie qui est d'ailleurs honorable.
