This lovely early Autumn evening was enhanced by a couple of beers sat in the square outside the restaurant while our host let us chat. There was no pressure to order, we just browsed the menu at our leisure. When we had chosen he took our orders and prepared a table for us. As neither of us were having a starter, we just wandered in when he let us know our food was ready. We both had the falafel salad and it was delicious. A good sized plateful of a lovely salad and really first class falafels. They’re easy to get wrong or to turn into solid little nuggets but these were just right. Lovely place. I had lunch with my daughter. Sitting in the shadow of a plane tree planted in 1791, eating a perfect salad, designed by the owner, which was surprisingly good, and looking to the fountain with crystal clear potable water. Ar such a moment life is so good. This is everything I love from the southern part of France. I recommend this place highly and hope that you will enjoy the mood of the place the same as I did.
This restaurant basically offers only outdoor seating under the 2 platan trees planted in 1789 (the year of the French revolution). Lots of shadow and a beautiful marble fountain with cool, drinkable, mineral water directly from the source. The food is a mixture of French and Spanish cuisine. It is very well prepared. Service is both in French and English. Interesting and affordable wine menu with local wines.
This restaurant has something very special to offer. It has a rather different and imaginative menu, and the food is top quality as is the friendly service. The location just has to be experienced! sitting at an outside table on a warm evening by a fountain full of drinking water under the shade of ancient plane trees, and overlooking the buildings of this medieval village. Offers a wide range of nice drinks in a lovely outside setting near a fountain that has drinking quality water in it. Unfortunately I found their tapas portions to be very small for the price, we ended up leaving after spending €40 and still being hungry enough to share a pizza.
