I was pleasantly surprised. The food servings were perfectly portioned, no waste and you leave feeling full and completely satisfied. The dish I had was good although it was not like the Southwestern/Mexican restaurants in Texas it was better than many in Florida. The prices were reasonable. I liked the atmosphere it is small and quaint inside and you can eat outside if you wanted, which is fun to be able to do if you like to watch the river and or passing of traffic. A very nice place to meet up for a lunch with a few friends. I left happy and really appreciated the service from all of the staff. I plan to come back again sometime in the future.
This is a great place! The food is great, and the service is awesome. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the cheese dip portion sizes. Their large cheese dip is a small/extra small compared to most places, and the small is close to the same size as the cheese dipping sauce at taco bell... We get our food from La Marimba, but in order to have enough cheese dip for the family, we order a large cheese dip from El Leoncito to go with our La Marimba food. It is nearly three times the size for a comparable price I really wish we didn't have to do that... Attached photo is the large cheese dip.
Staff is nice friendly and attentive.the food is another story.i had the combination with one enchilada,a burrito and a tamale. They came sitting next to each other covered in the same sauce. They were all the same size about 6 inches long and may 3/4 to 1inch día. Smaller then the frozen burritos in the store for 10 for 4 bucks. To me none were worthy of a Mexican restaurant. The Tamale was hard and I asked old.the burrito and enchilada virtually Indistinguishable. The first refried beans were good the right riCE tasted like it set in the fridge uncovered 32 do)ars with beer and a soda
A very pleasant experience today. We were greeted nicely and promptly settled into our booth. Our server was nice and helpful, lovely smile. My LaBamba Burrito was excellent, especially the tender chicken wrapped up inside. The guacamole, pico, and sour cream were all fresh. Note: Their tomatoes were perfect, a rarity in food service. I think they were local grown. Their chips and salsa are good. The iced tea was fresh and perfectly brewed. Réservez une table maintenant
came here on holiday with my people. The place is a beautiful little place. We order the fiesta appetizer that is much as you get 3 items for a good price. My parents got the combination and they liked their food. I order the fried fish that was quite a neat experience and quite delicious. The service was great and overall a beautiful small place for some good Mexican foods. Would recommend everyone to try this place.
Out waitress was very friendly and fast, and the food was great! I ordered the Real Mexican Tacos, with barbacoa, carnitas and grilled chicken. The housemade tortillas were EVERYTHING- so, so good! All of the meat was juicey and well seasoned. The rice and beans are what you get everywhere, nothing extraordinary there. Chips are free the first basket, then you pay. Salsa was pretty good.
