Every Saturday, my husband goes to a Tai-Chi class and I get just over an hour to myself. La Marina is right next door to where he goes, so after a poor choice of cafe's last week - I opted for this great looking place.Airlie was heaving this morning with the start of race-week. People everywhere and quite a full cafe. No matter - staff were unfazed, calm and friendly as I took my table which I was planning on lingering at for over an hour. The restaurant is good-looking, the menu is varied with those favorites that you want to see, and the staff are attentive.I chose a pretty basic brekkie - just simple eggs with a bit of avo and a flat white. Dined at La Marina early this week while on a business trip. Food was of a very high standard as well as the staff and there attentive nature to making sure we were taken care of. The only downer was a man yelling at one of the staff for what I'm not sure. He was loud and rude while the staff member was trying to resolve in a calm manner what he was unhappy about.I guess some people were never brought up with good manners.
The restaurant is located in the Marina, under the Mantra Boat House where we were staying. The service is dynamic and cheerful. The Italian food is of high quality, however relatively high prices. We tried the pizzas, lasagna and seafood risotto. It was good, without being extraordinary. However the restaurant is quite noisy.
Upon our arrival at LaMarina, we were informed that they were not associated with OpenTable, which was a bit awkward. However, they were able to find us a table even though they were fully booked. This experience has left me feeling less confident about using OpenTable in the future.

What a spectacular evening! Overlooking a marina filled with yachts, absolutely 'to die for' food, great service. This restaurant is the best! Meals were a good size and so yummy. Vincenzo and Missy were really friendly and up for a chat. If you're in Airlie Beach, this is a must.

We called in here to get a quick lunch. We had two pizza's between 4 of us which was ample. Their Pizza's are the best! Very nice, great base and great flavour. Their Iced coffee and cappichino is not bad either.
