We had a very nice meal here while moored at the marina opposite the restaurant. The family who run this place are really great, very friendly and provide good service. I had a simple salad which was fresh with a good dressing, my husband had the Gambas which he said were delicious. Unfortunately our friend chose the cote de boef and was very disappointed, we didn’t complain as after living in France for a year now we know that French beef is nothing like we are used to in the UK, so complaining is useless!! The deserts were great and altogether we had a lovely evening. My advice is don’t order the beef and you’ll be fine
We are always on the lookout for a good restaurant in the area and stumbled on this. The food was simple but delicious and excellent . It was great to have a salad with more than just lettuce. The only slight criticism was the small portion size of the ice cream as it was so good I really wanted more. We sat next to the river and the ducks were fed by many people from their bread basket The staff are friendly and work really hard. We will be going back again and will recommend it to friends.
Had a lovely evening visiting Seurre by boat. The restaurant opens exactly on 7pm so don't worry if it looks closed befor. The sushi is some of the best I have had and is freshly made. Had some wine, drinks, sushi starter and a main each and desert for €165 which is fine. Only one downside was the chef cooked the wrong dish for one of our party; but it was quickly made up and served not long after. All in all, not a bad restaurant for a quick for an informal visit.
Situated right on the canal it is the closest to where the boats tie up. We made the pleasant 10 minute stroll for dinner. The menu is short and the outdoor furniture plastic but the service was fast and friendly. This is a good solid restaurant and the creme brulee was probably the best I have had anywhere.
