I came here once in summer and wanted to check it out in winter as the food is fantastic. It is a bit more to get from a trek in winter. The bus will take you so far and then you will have to go to the restaurant for another 15 minutes. Alternatively from Verbier village, count about 1h on foot. This gives this rather remote restaurant its success in my opinion. We had a croûte au fromage et jambon, which was excellent and super tasty, a typical speciality from the region. We also had a rösti aux morilles, as we remembered it from 4 years ago as amazing. The recipe changed something, but it was still delicious. Also a Swiss specialty if you ask me. Pricing is... The restaurant is located in a really picturesque location. We managed to park directly at the restaurant, but there you can also take a nice walk to it. As we visited in June, we could sit on the terrace and enjoy spectacular views. The staff is very attentive, helpful and pleasant. The food is delicious, all very locally and beautifully prepared and presented. It is a restaurant that we will return every time we are in Verbier.
