The Mezquita started as a mosque in 7th century, the building has beautiful structure. As you walk through the entire building, you can see all the additions and how it became a church. To this day they use the church for many things such as weddings, baptism. You must read the history before you visit, or better yet, go in with an expert. I truly recommend seeing it and visiting the Alcazar as well as the old Muslim and Jewish quarters. It's a great history and how people from 3 different religions lived together peacefully.
It had been many years since I had been there and as I understood it changed owners. The thing is, I remembered that the site was fine, but now it's fine. We were pleasantly surprised and we will repeat more times to try more dishes. We liked the ones we took and the ones we saw coming out looked very good. So we will repeat. No matter if you are religious or not unless you are ignorant folk. It is a must see place when visiting Cordoba. Beautiful architecture La Mezquita- mixture of Islam and Christianity. Make sure you get there in the morning to avoid entry fees. It is free to see between 8:30-9:30 am however it is still worth to pay.
Es de agradecer el cambio de gerencia. El local tanto como el servicio a mejorado notablemente. Las croquetas de jamón se notan caseras y las pilotas muy bien hechas . Es recomendable visitar este local. Pequeño pero especial.
