"hadn't been around for a few years, but will certainly go back. we had all garlic mushrooms for a starter, it was the best we ever had, great. I had chicken and ragcake, the woman had a bell for the main thing. both meals were very good (turnip was a bit hard, too bigga chunk.) the service was excellent. no gloomy, we couldn't fit them in. we would definitely recommend it."

we visited on Sunday afternoon and had a drink on their terrace, which has a beautiful view of the sea. we were in the middle of the day. the interior is well furnished in a modern style. I found it a more comfortable place to be with many tables for larger groups. great that they are an extended family or those who are looking for somewhere for a celebration. I had the fish cake that was excellent. many salmon, cloves, kartoffels and magically melted cheese. I was in heaven. my friend had the beef-rust dinner I included so they can see what they get. she was not happy with the filling as we both like it crispy and she felt that the bark was over when she likes her bark a bit pink.
for our sons baptized. the place itself was ace, we chose the Spirit function suite as not a stair for older family members. everyone praised the eating, the quality and the amount was great, the young girl behind the bar was amazing, the management seemed fab to the end I would say that we felt that a tad rushed after we were under the impression, we would not be thrown out if people still drink (i.e. at least 15 of us, and still spending money) but we were told 1245
Christmas meal with colleagues. we are good and the staff was quick to help. my only grip was my back to the sea and I sat on the back. the wind from the sea seemed to travel directly through and it was unhappy cold. the personal has abandoned the heating that has helped a little. I would like to return here as the meal was good and the staff really went out of the way to make our group party a good one.
Nice, local, dog friendly pub that serves decent food. Nicely laid out inside, nothing fancy but just what you need. View from the front/outside over the seafront is lovely. Prices were reasonable and portions sizes very good. Staff were very helpful and happy. Overall a nice visit and would return. Also has the restaurant upstairs and a room to hire downstairs, and a large carpark
