We visited La Mirabelle for lunch after reading other good reviews of this restaurant. It lived up to our expectations. The welcome was friendly, the service was quick (especially given that there plenty of other diners) and the food was very good indeed. The cornet de jambon was first class and the entrecote with foie gras sauce was full of flavour. The ambiance was good - the place had a real buzz - and there appeared to be several "regulars" lunching there. Take care, though, if you plan on an evening visit - it's only open on Friday evenings at the moment!
Our travel group of 7 adults stumbled upon La Mirabelle after a morning of touring in rural areas around Pont-Audemer where we were unable to find a promising restaurant. The friendly welcome in English from our waitress was a godsend! In spite of being busy, she chatted with us throughout the meal and told us interesting facts about the restaurant and the town, and made our mid-day meal thoroughly enjoyable.
