The food and ambiance is great. What makes the restaurant just that much better is the feeling of being part of a family.We have gone there for Lunch and dinner and the food has never failed to satisfy us.Being regular customers, they know what we like to have as our beverages, though they will still ask to be sure that that is what we would like to have.Because of their popularity, it is best to have reservations. Though they will try to fit you in if you are willing to wait.

When visiting Alzey, with its charming half-timbered houses, interesting statues, old buildings, the Italian restaurant La Nave, in the very centre, is a good choice for a pleasant dinner. Great choice of dishes, a pleasant staff, fine outside terrace, we liked it. A pity, they do not serve local wines (as far as we could see on the menu) but only Italian ones. Might be wise to make a reservation a couple of hours before.

La Nave is situated in the centre of Alzey. It is a family-run restaurant that serves typical Italian food. The cuisine is standard and not too sophisticated but very good. The service is fast and polite. The wine list consists several Italian no-name varietal wines. Definitely a recommendation if you want some authentic easy and nice meal.

C'est mon restaurant sicilien préféré italien ou meilleur dans ma ville natale. Beau personnel sympathique. La nourriture est excellente à bas prix. En été, ils ont quelques tables à l'extérieur qui rendent l'atmosphère et l'expérience encore mieux. Essayez le petit gâteau au chocolat pour le dessert ..... merveilleux

It´s my favorite italian (or better sicilian) restaurant in my hometown. Nice and friendly staff. The food is excellent at low prices.During summer they have a few tables outside which makes the atmosphere and experience even better.Try the little chocolate cake for dessert.. Marvelous.

We had several different pastas, salads, wine and pizza at La Nave. Everything was delicious! In particular, the gnocchi was superb. The people there are real Italians and they suffered through my Italian and my German with friendly enthusiasm. Lovely memories.

A tipical Italian restaurant but in Germania. We tested pasta and pizza. Quality was there. Prices are low (8.40 € for the daily menu)
