We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch on our drive from Porticcio to Propriano. We both ordered pasta dishes- one with giant prawns and the other mixed seafood. The sauce was made with rich, creamy fish stock and the prawns were big and juicy. Simply delicious! And for the amount of seafood in each dish, the price (18-20 euro) was a bargain. Foie gras appetizer was very good, though we could tell it's not house-made which is not a good thing for any decent French restaurant. The restaurant has a great view of the ocean in the front and the pool area of the accompanying hotel to the side. Service was good and efficient, if unremarkable. Overall, it was a happy discovery.

At that moment restaurant was almost empty (21:30h). Then they questioned us, "where is the fork" (as a guest of hotel, we took one to room). In next minute, waiter brought the bill, but nobody of us asked for it. We asked to remove it from the table, but in next 10 seconds they brought it back with a argument, the boss told, that the bill must be on the table.Better change/train the staff, not to destroy your nice reputation.

En tant qu'invités à l'hôtel, nous voulions prendre un verre au restaurant. Lorsque nous avons dit à la serveuse que nous ne voulions pas dîner, elle nous a jetés dehors de la table. Le restaurant était vide et la réservation n'était pas là. Ensuite, elle nous a accusés d'avoir volé la fourchette : Et pour couronner le tout, elle a jeté l'addition sur la table alors que nous ne la voulions pas. Nous lui avons dit que c'était très peu professionnel et impoli. Mais elle a apporté l'addition à nouveau, sur demande de son patron. Vous vous moquez de moi ? Comportement très très inapproprié.

As a guests at the hotel, we wanted some drink at the restaurant. When we told the waitress that we dont want dinner, she threw us out of the table. The restaurant was empty and the reservation was not there. Then she accused us that we stole the fork :) The top of everything was she threw the bill on the table even though we did not want it. We told her it is very unproffessional and rude. But she brought the bill again that the boss told her. Are you kidding me? Very very inappropriate behavior.

After few moments, they moved us to different table in very rude manner. Then we ordered coffe and beer. Coffe was disaster quality and taste. Beer as well. Very dissapointing experience. Ce restaurant de plage d'hôtel est très bien situé sur une plage très calme et tranquille. Le personnel est sympathique bien que parfois leur discussion entre eux ralentit un peu le service. La nourriture est bonne même si elle est un peu limitée en matière de fruits de mer.

Hotel is modern but pleasant in beautiful grounds but the Pailotte restaurant is to be avoided at all costs the food was literally inedible,the steak was sent back to be replaced by poorly cooked fish and smoking was allowed in the restaurant
Excellente nourriture avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Belle vue sur la baie de Propriano. Les viandes grillées et les poissons sont recommandés. Service agréable et serveurs souriants.
