We were looking forward to a nice dinner with the sea in the background but what a disappointment this was. We were staying in the other 5 star hotel in Propriano than where this restaurant is part of and wanted a different scenery. We ordered pasta and risotto with gamba’s. First of all the dishes were just very flat from a taste point of view but the gamba’s also still had the intestinal tract and not small but pretty big one. So when I asked the waiter she apologized and took it leaving me with the idea something would be changed. After ten minutes the manager came and asked whether we were finished. We said no as we expected something to come, we explained what happened and we assumed something was coming. This was not the case and she reacted very unfriendly. Mentioned that the way the gamba’s were served were standard. We explained that this what not what we understood as her colleague took the dish and apologized. She then became unfriendly and asked what we expected. Finally they provided new gamba’s but clearly the joy of a nice meal was gone. She had an attitude which is just not normal there are different ways to solve a problem but she clearly needs some education so for us never again at this location
Un bel endroit avec une belle vue... mais une nourriture extrêmement pauvre. Ne jamais être servi si peu de nourriture. Froid, pas bon et quand on a dit qu'ils étaient d'accord et prétendent refaire les plats... en fait ils les mettent simplement dans le four à micro-ondes. Il semble que le chef soit italien. Est-il possible pour un Italien de réchauffer un plat de pâtes? Jamais vu ! Nous étions 5 avec 5 plats différents et incapables de les manger. Le chef ne travaille que jusqu'à 10:00. N'y va jamais en retard. Plus que la mauvaise expérience et l'horrible nourriture, la gestion de crise était le pire jamais vu. Incroyable. Notre pire expérience en Corse où en général la nourriture est toujours bonne, mais parfois coûteuse. Ici bel endroit, la nourriture horrible et la facture coûteuse. Nous ne nous souviendrons pas des plats, mais nous ne renoncerons jamais au prix payé. Qualité/prix de rapport est le pire du Sud de la Corse, bien sûr! Notre dernière fois... heureusement, nous avons réservé un hôtel à côté. Notre meilleure décision!!!
Le personnel d'attente était excellent. Vue et ambiance très jolie. Cependant, la nourriture était très lente même pour les enfants presque 2 heures pour les cours principaux à arriver. Quand on a demandé pourquoi on attendait si longtemps, on nous a dit que c'était parce que nous avions commandé des entrées. Nous serions allés directement à moins de plats si cela avait été expliqué. C'était une excuse. La nourriture était décente, mais certainement pas la valeur de la facture coûteuse. Je ne reviendrai pas.
Had dinner there on our first evening in the hotel. Two seatings, one around 7.30 pm, the second one around 9.30 pm. If you like to see the sunset, then the earlier one is excellent, obviously slightly noisier due to small kids. Food was great, service great too. Restaurant right at the little beach!
