La Palmeraie - Réserver une table

Reservation process : three mails and 1 phone call - my mail : I would like to reserve the 6th but if not available then 7,8,9 or 10th also OK. Answer : The 6th is full, please choose another date, full stop. Obviously this kind of intelligent debate can take a long time, anyway after multiple iterations we got a table for Sunday evening.OK - yes, the grounds are beautiful (except for the toilets which are actually the beach bar toilets)So let's get started with the starters : Lobster. Oops, after 15 minutes we get informed no lobster is available - was not delivered today. Full stop. Sorry, this is not supposed to happen in a one-star restaurant (especially if you have only around 5 starters.) OK, let's move on - 2 of my friends had steak, not cooked to specification and hard.I myself don't even really remember what I ate - it's 4 days ago and it left no impression.Not to be fully negative I have to recommend the sommelier who half saved the day with his knowledge and competence - he was the only one at the one-star level...Will not go back.

very nice and romantic place. in the evening we have dinner around a small tub, under the centuries-old palm trees. all around there are the vineyards of property and gardens, really well-kept. the restaurant, pretentious is not up to the michelin star. discreet service, with sommeliers sometimes absent. Paper of nurseries with articulated names and still uncertain realization. combinations with sauces not always adjusted (to my taste). Overall definitely not bad but I expected better. Good wine paper with less high embroidery than usual (ok) expensive dishes. Being a hotel there is no parking problem even in the absence of the carmaker.

The location is beautiful, Michelin rates it as a one star while the reservation process creates an impression as if it was a three star but our experience was unfortunately not that great. Starters and dessert were good but not superb, really bad was the Charolais beef that was not tender at all. My complaint was more or less ignored but in a nice way. The Chef du Rang thanked for the information that she will pass on to the Chef. I somehow doubt that this has happened! Prices were quite steep and reasonable wines under 100€ difficult to find. My overall impression is overpriced and overrated.

very beautiful establishment that is full of nice little corners. The possibility of going pinewood the 2nd establishment located on the beach is a real plus. A very nice spa somewhere else. An experience to renew, why not the cabin in the trees ...

back to the Palmeraie,Superb diner around the fish, extra fresh legume cultivated in the garden of the chateau.rapport qualité prix correct. It is for us the best restaurant in the area.Don't forget the organic infusions made with fresh plants.
