I was a regular some 9 years ago and then moved away. I was heartbroken because Parrilla was my weekly go-to spot. I recently was in the area with my wife who had never been and, you know those times where you've built something up in your head to be better than it was? This isn't one of those times. La parrilla is EVEN BETTER than I remembered it. It's amazing that after almost 10 years of being gone they are still just as delicious as they were the day I left town.
What a great find! Food was outstanding! We almost didn’t go in because it was like 7 on a Saturday and the parking lot was empty and the place doesn’t look like much, but we were so happy we stayed. I don’t know why nobody else was there (people finally starting showing up around 8-8:30), because this was the best Mexican food we’ve had in the region in a long time.
Smothered Chile Colorado was excellent. Best Mexican food we’ve had in this region in years. We had really good service, but we were the only ones there. This was weird, because it was a Saturday night. We thought we were missing something but eventually people did show up. So maybe it’s kind of a hidden gem? We’ll definitely be back.
Best torta I’ve ever had. That’s always my go to when visiting a Mexican restaurant. I didn’t catch the name of the man who served us but he was everything you could ask for in amazing customer service!! Even my picky mom loved it. lol. Will definitely be going back!!!!
