La part des Anges

We stopped here on our way back from the Pyrenees. The La Part des Anges restaurant was at the top of the list of the restaurants in Oloron. And after our meal we understood why! Everything is delicious - the amuse-bouche were exquisite as we're the starters (foie gras). The braised meat is absolutely delicious and the desserts (all homemade) out of this world. We strongly recommend this little jewel. Our only regret was that we did not manage to have a table outside. But the pleasure of wining and dining on great food and wine largely offset our (very little) frustration. Bravo to the chef and the charming waitresses. We had a really enjoyable evening

It was our last night in France and we were recommended to go to this restaurant. The food was absolutely superb: My starter was paté, which came with an amazing semi-fredo paté (like an ice cream, which mightn ot sound good, but it was amazing). Main course: A local beef casserole with an wonderful rich gravy, and then a fruit tart, a great wine. The waitress Sophie, was fun, friendly and happy to deal with my rusty french. The lady honour was just as welcoming. My only regret is that we did not find this place earlier, we would have gone back.

We enjoyed our dinner tremendously, especially the St Jacques dish with lentils, mmmmhhhh. Service was good and a nice ambiance with murs en pierres and rustic deco.

the right price for the right food_not fancy restaurant with good cuisine_not too much in the menu and look good and fresh_it is affordable and the ambiance

Just found a great restaurant on a walk around town and had a fantastic meal very reasonably priced if you are in this part of France look it up
