I live in périgueux and knew la pataterie when it was located elsewhere in the city. from any reason I had never tried the restaurant there. since la pataterie however moved to place francheville, I was there several times. with colleagues, friends and with. my man. position: fantastic. next to the Périgueux cinema with a large terrace overlooking the beautifully maintained square francheville and underground Francheville parking (for those who drive), the location is ideal. service: fantastic. staff and owners are excellent, friendly, polite, efficient. menu: fantastic. there is a surprisingly large selection of baked kartoffels with various toppings to salads, with a daily suggestion also....

Nous avons décidé de manger ici pour le déjeuner et c'était fantastique. Nous avons eu une salade vraiment bonne avec du saumon et des noix, ainsi qu'une assiette de pommes de terre avec divers accompagnements comme du jambon bouilli et cru, du fromage raclette, et ainsi de suite, et les deux plats étaient délicieux. La cuisine est très bien assaisonnée, riche et savoureuse. De plus, nous avons eu une belle sélection de desserts, c'était parfait. Je préfère avoir trois portions plus petites qu'une grande portion, donc je peux essayer différentes choses. Les boissons étaient également très bonnes (j'aime le fait qu'ils aient de nombreux cocktails sans alcool, donc je peux profiter de ma boiss...

C'est un endroit simple et convivial sur le côté du grand cinéma multiplex central de la ville. La salle est lumineuse et spacieuse, en contraste avec l'atmosphère sombre, peu accueillante et datée du pub voisin, où nous avons été ignorés pendant plus de 30 minutes avant de partir. À la pattaterie, tout tourne autour des grandes pommes de terre cuites remplies, avec des garnitures différentes. J'ai pris le chti, avec un fromage fort du nord de la France, et mon ami a pris le végétarien, tous les deux délicieux et avec des portions généreuses, bien chauds par une journée d'hiver froid. C'était tout ce que nous avons partagé en entrée. La trempette de fromage aux oignons cuits a fait l'affaire...
This is a simple and friendly joint on the side of the big central cinema multiplex downtown. The room is light and spacious and contrasts with the gloomy , unfriendly and dated atmosphere of the neighboring pub where we were ignored for over hour...and decided to leave. At the pataterie, everything revolves around large baked stuffed poatoes, with various feelings. I had the Chti, with strong cheese from Northern France and my friend had the vegetarian, both delicious and with large servings, red hot on a cold winter day. Just the thing. We also shared sausage skewers as a starter. The baked onion cheese dip did the trick. They have a well appointed bar, which you will have to check for you...
Decided to eat here for lunch and it was fantastic. We had a really good salad with duck liver, salmon and nuts and a potato with various additional things to eat like cooked and raw ham, raclette cheese and so on and both meals were...excellent. Food is very well seasoned, rich and tasty. Plus we had a nice selection of desserts which was perfect. I´d rather have three smaller portions than one large portion so I can try different things. Drinks were also really good (I like the fact that they have a lot of alcohol-free cocktails there so I can enjoy my drink and still drive) and the service is very efficient, quick and extremely friendly. J'ai absolument adoré cet endroit, la nourriture est délicieuse et pas trop chère. Je recommande vivement la salade César, une petite boîte de douceurs en supplément est un oubli à ne pas manquer!

Absolutely loved this place,good food and not too pricey. Would highly recommend the caesar salad,got a little box of sweets as a complementary extra!
