Free chips n salsa but smallest half filled salsa cups. I had the nachos. I cannot recommend them at all. Not better than I could have made at home in the microwave. Just loads of thick cheese on greasy chips. Couldn’t even pull them apart. I had to cut through the cheese with a knife to not have all the cheese pick up at once. So then the chips would break. Another person had enchiladas that were ok, but they were hungry so who knows how good they really were. The margaritas were good but their portions are weird. No large size, have to buy a half liter for $14. They really Mickle and some you too. I asked for sour cream as the nachos were only chips, cheese, meat, beans (I said no jalapeño...
Very disappointed. Came in for dinner Sunday at 7:30pm. Walked inside. Despite some tables seated, and apparently the ability to order to go food, told us they are closed, they don’t have staff due to Memorial Holiday weekend.Just not the same since original owners sold. Mi Tierra at 84 Holdrege is open, they have staff, and the food is great. Sorry La Paz, we give up.
We got la paz catered for my brothers graduation. Overall excellent food, i was especially wowed by their guacamole and the chips were perfectly salted and crunchy. The refried beans were delicious and the enchiladas while good in flavor the tortillas within them were a little too fluffy in texture.
If you get the server with a good attitude it's awesome. The male that I had tonight, was not as good as the female I had the last time I was there. I wish I got her name she was so sweet!

Charged 20% auto gratuity for a party of 5? Made no sense to me. We all ordered entrees and a few drinks but why automatically charge that?
Even though it's an older establishment, the service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the sopapilla with ice cream was delightful.
The waitstaff took our order but never returned. They ran out of Dr. Pepper, and I was left thirsty for the rest of my meal.
They clearly don’t understand how to prepare authentic Mexican cuisine. However, they do make excellent salsa and chips.
