Very trendy and busy restaurant, which was retrospectively quite amazing !The restaurant was fully crowded and people closely packed.This was very loud and noisy such as it was quite a challenge to discuss with others.The food is supposed to be Spanish but even with a Spanish friend, we were quite questioning ourselves about some dishes as my friend never heard of it.Food overall is so basic and low quality that it looked more about feeding than anything else.Service and staff were although committed, attentive and efficient.

Tried this tapas bar while on holidays, following other reviews on TripAdvisor. The place was fairly busy, however they managed to accommodate us. Great atmosphere and the food is just amazing. We had a selection of tapas, hard to decide which one was the best! I particularly remember the fried aubergine with honey sauce, first time I tried it and so delicious. Prices are very reasonable too. Overall a great experience and definitely a place to visit when in Freiburg.

If you're in Freiburg craving tapas this is for you. The owners are friendly, the food and atmosphere are great. I've been there twice, one busy winter night and one slow fall night. Most people go when it's cold out and they are looking for a warm summery place. If you are lucky to be there when it's not too busy take the time to talk to the owners. Prices aren't bad either!

For Spanish people, eating outside our country is always a challenge. Most places uses Spanish kitchen as a sure money maker. However not the case here. Real Spanish food and good quality and service. The owners are very friendly and we had a good night. Totally recommendable. Perfect location and good atmosphere. Sure I'll be back when in Freiburg again. Réservez une table maintenant

My friends and I came here for a bite to eat prior to a gig at the Jazz house and again we were not disappointed.The was fresh and tasty. The portions more than adequate (designed to be shared between 2 or 4). The staff friendly and the service speedy.My only gripe was the tortilla was overcooked, but would still happily frequent this place again.

The atmosphere in this beautiful latin place is very warm and confortable. All here talks about Spain, as you can be sure you will find real Spanish people who prepare Tapas with passion. The wines are good, as well as the prices for the average of the Stadt. Try all the Red ones, Ribera y Riojas, and you will feel satisfied.

We have tried the octopus, 'croquetas', 'boquerones', the veal and everything was delicious. Also the wine was alright. Did not expect such a good experience as most of the mid range Spanish restaurants we have been to, were really poor. I will definitely repeat!

La pepa is a nice little place with great service. Food is excellent, croquetas are really nice. I went for my birthday last year and had a good time. This place will give you those Spanish vibes you might need in cold Freiburg. Réservez une table maintenant

One of the best Spanish tapas / cocktail bar I have ever seen in South germany Real home made food and people very friendly I hardly recommend To visit it and eat there!!!! The wine is excellent too

Bustling, popular, noisy tapas bar producing good food. Amazing how everything appears virtually together. Worth a visit but not for a romantic evening!
