This charming little Italian restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It offers authentic Italian cuisine rather than Italian-American fare, despite the classic red-checkered tablecloths. The food is truly exceptional, especially the squid ink pasta with seafood, which is absolutely delicious. Located in the Silver Lake neighborhood along the easily walkable Sunset Blvd, it's a delightful dining spot. Our waiter, Carson, was attentive and friendly. The entrees range from $18 to $30, and they are well worth the price. Highly recommended!
This feels more like you are at a dinner table in a family's home more than a restaurant. The cozy inside feels just like a dinning room. There are about 15-20 tables total a few tables that can fit more than 4 people. You are served bread with oil/balsamic vinegar. The food is outstanding. The prices are a bit high especially for the service and a few other details We were given cheap plastic cups to drink expensive bottled water from. The food is mediocre. This restaurant is fantastic! The pasta sauce is fresh, and the spaghetti is absolutely delicious. The pasta is perfectly cooked. I visited with my family, and we enjoyed every single detail of our experience. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, and the staff greeted us warmly at the door. There is authenticity here that doesn 't feel contrived or smothering. You can eat something with less than $15 which is unprecedented in this urban enclave so enamored with its artsy opulence that it lobbied to gain the name Silverlake . Yeah, right.
This is actually a lovely little spot. I visited during the day for a late lunch, and the service was quick, exactly what I needed. The food was delicious as well. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is hungry and just looking for a good meal!
