El restaurante La Perla se encuentra en la zona baja de Ponferrada, en el centro comercial y financiero de la ciudad. Por proximidad, he ido en varias ocasiones a comer o cenar, aunque no acaba de convencerme del todo: Encuentro la comida un poco salada y fuerte. El local tiene dos plantas, en la inferior se encuentra el bar para el tapeo, y en la superior el restaurante propiamente dicho, que es muy grande. El ambiente me gusta, con paredes empapeladas combinando diferentes estampados en tonos granates y blancos, sillas de respaldo alto, mantelería hasta el suelo... Ofrecen platos caseros de la cocina tradicional y regional del Bierzo. Tienen una amplia carta: Entrantes, verduras, revueltos...

located in the lower area of ponferrada, near the railway moeo, the pearl is a traditional restaurant within the gastronomy of bercian. so the dishes are well prepared and their quality is good, their abundance is their weak point. personally recommending to try so varied tapas, they are well prepared. Mal servicio. Después de un rato de espera, la camarera llegó, nos limpió la mesa y se fue a atender a la mesa de al lado, la cual se habían sentado mas tarde. tras decírselo a la camarera, nos resopló de malas maneras, nos tomó nota y todavía sirvió antes a la otra mesa. Aquí llevo siempre a mi amor cuando viene. El tar tar de cecina es riquísimo y si lo acompañas de una copa de pétalos y buena compañía es aún mejor!
