Uno de los mejores sitios para tapear en Algeciras, se encuentra bajando las escaleras de la galería de calle Sevilla justo al lado de la tintorería. En verano aconsejo llamar para reservar o ir temprano porque se suele llenar, sitio con terraza y salón interior climatizado. Tiene una gran variedad de tapas, carnes, pescados , tostas y montaditos entre los cuales vas a tener difícil elección por qué todos tienen buena pinta. Respecto a la comida, todo lo que pedimos nos encantó, aunque por el precio de las tapas echábamos en falta algo mas de cantidad aún así son de muy buena calidad por lo cual compensa. Recomiendo probar el solomillo al pedro ximenez con cebolla caramelizada y queso de cab...
Our first time in Algeciras and a little anxious about going into a place which is unknown. We were immediately impressed with the friendly and helpful attitude from the staff, who we can 't praise enough. The food was excellent, generous tapa portions and all delicious. If you like seafood, we would recommend the octopus pata de pulpo which was served grilled and came with potatoes with paprika and mashed sweet potato. Get there early for lunch as the place is very popular and was full by the time we finished. We 'll definitely eat there again if in Algeciras.
I have been coming here for four years and it has the same menu (and same prices). Situated in a little walkway between Calle Regino Martinez and Plaza Neda, it 's a charming spot for tapas. The montaditos are mostly €1,20 and are the best I 've had in Algeciras try lomo with pimienta (pork with pepper sauce). Tapas recommendations tapa of tuna steak at €1,50 is ridiculous and delicious, also La Perseverancia (chicken breast with bechamel, fried). Tubo of beer better value for money than the jarra.
A lovely small restaurant in the centre of Algeciras, serving traditional and hearty tapas dishes. The food was excellent.
