Perched on the bank of Lake Leman this delightful restaurant offered us a unique dining experience. We crossed the lake from Nyon in Switzerland by launch to Chens to find the restaurant close to the pier. We had a fantastic lunch prepared by the Danish chef/owner served outside on the spacious terrace. We had three courses with Scandinavian inspired starters (try the Bergere salad-wonderful), followed by generous portions of lamb and lake fish (fera). Fortunately we did find the room for the patisserie specials. After lunch we had a leisurely walk up from the port to the village where there were more delightful views across the lake.
On a stormy day we made a detour to La Petite Sirene at Tougues. This was our second visit as we had previously sailed across Lac Leman to Tougues. The welcome was warm and the filets de perche copious and well prepared. We found all the staff impressive. The entire experience was lovely. We were on the terrace in the sun and the staff were anxiously preparing for the storm that was imminent but they still found time to be friendly and competent.
We really like La Petite Sirene. We have been there several times and enjoy sitting on the terrace. The fera and the lamb dishes that we have had there have been delicious. The owner and her family are warm and welcoming. Very nice spot to watch the sun set as well!!!
Overall the location is superb. The lake is very close. In front of the restaurant, there is a big space not used and looking quite messy. Food we had was average, salmon was amazing, meat was not good. Rest was alright

Lovely situated with a nice terrace, just few meters away from the lake shore. You can reach it by car or by boat. Food is good, try out the "filets de perche". Place to be in summer. Recommended.
Après avoir passé quelques semaines en France, cette nourriture était une excellente pause du jambon, du fromage et du pain! Des serveurs très sympas et attentionnés, et un cadre adorable.
Nous n'avons pas l'habitude de noter les restaurants en fonction des prix et du service, mais nous faisons une exception ici. Service ridiculement mauvais.
