We took a trip inland from the coast of Benidorm and ended up in the tiny town of Adsubia and in the equally small town square there were two restaurants and we choose The pianola for no special reason. And what a good choice it was. Inside it was a typical spanish bar/restaurant quite loud crowd inside, lots of talk of just about everything. We sat down and asked the smiling and very friendly waitress if it was possible to have something to eat. Of course she said we have a daily stew and it is a bit like paella mmmm very good. So we ordered food and drinks. Emediatly after our order she came back with a bowl of peanuts, pickles and olives and a few minutes later a basket of bread and aioli...
Located in the centre of the village opposite the town hall. Lovely large parasols provide lots of shade. We have visited several times in recent weeks for the menu del via. Reasonably priced at 7 Euros, Salad or Melon with Serrano Ham. Main course varies daily, no choice but we have had some delicious local dishes such as Fideua, Arroz all Horno, Macaroni. Dessert is usually a choice of fruit or ice cream. We have tried several flavours of the Alicante ice creams, Turon, Cream Catalan Chocolate, all excellent. A large glass of wine included.
We have been this holy Friday and I have to say that this place is obligatory to eat, the tip we have eaten, amazing, in places of this dish I have not eaten it as well, like the meatballs, very good is little, desserts and luxury coffee. the sympathy of the waitress and the price of the food is already the auction to be a place of ten.
