La Piazza - Réservation de table

We've eaten here several times during our visits to Magdeburg the last few years, and this restaurant serves some excellent dishes for very agreeable prices. The owner (I think?) has a somewhat stereotypical 'Italian mobster' appearance going with lots of heavy gold chains and rings, slick hair and rolled up sleeves, but probably just to amuse the guests which he greets jovially, often in a mix of Italian, English and German.Highly recommended!

This is my first time in Magdeburg, Germany and it's the best thing to drop by an italian restaurant. The food and wine is great. The red wine was served by a big italian guy with gold rings, chains, and necklace. Even his hair is great. Its like, its always wet. He served the red wine like a professional. He has this moves of presenting the wine to you before you actually drink it. Very nice. Also, the pasta is great.

Good, tasty and cheap Italian food with a nice atmosphere.Been there several times but recently visited with an Italian friend and that really made it shine.He persuaded the chef to cook his grandmothers specials (Mare et Monti) which is like a calzone and it was amazing.They speak decent English if your German or Italian isn't up to scratch.Recommend the Scampi al Brandi as the starter!

Went with my work colleagues for a dinner at la Piazza. It was great. Just in Leiterstraße, this restaurant has a great location, very pleasant, and you will fill like your in holidays. Food is cooked by italians, so you can be sure that food will be great. I had carpaccio and was delicious.Good value for money. Service was german standard. Im coming back for sure. In a small square off the main shopping street close to the Maritim hotel. Nice outdoor seating area, friendly enough staff but the food was fairly basic Italian food without the trimmings, no table cloths, no bread etc. If you want something simple and good value then this is the place for you

Just left after a superb meal. Nothing pretentious, just well cooked, well served. House red excellent as was the coffee. What more could you want? Wish I had room to try the desserts but I just had to eat all my pizza!!!

The service here was truly a pleasure, with staff being polite, kind and laid back at the same time. And they spoke good English. My pasta dish was average on taste, but luckily the price of the whole meal was very low.

We thought we were going to a simple pizzeria, but we found fantastic food, fantastic wine, fantastic service and a fantastic atmosphere! We absolutely recommend this restaurant! Réservez une table maintenant

The best restaurant in Magdeburg. Fantastic pizza, superb pasta and very low Price. Real italian kitchen modern and traditional. Amazing place.

Busy place even on a Tuesday evening. Good service and nice place to sit and relax. Lovely well cooked food. Very happy !!!
