OK, Frotzelei between the two big cities on the Rhine and both have a lot in common. Local beer and good restaurants! Unfortunately, our favorite Italians went from Solingen to Cologne and we were more often in La Piazetta. My first visit in the evening was not so perfect because of the high volume, so we are now at noon or in the early evening it was here and there it was more family, much quieter, but always well visited. Ask for daily meals, Tagliatelle with truffles or spaghetti with Vongole or the excellent calf livers everything super fresh and delicious.
