Best Mexican food I have found in Las Palmas. I am from the southwest U.S. and lived/travelled along the MX/US border and Mexican food is one of my favorites. I like that La Picantina keeps the menu simple by not having a crazy big menu, so they can focus on doing what they do well. The food was as authentic as you can get being so far away. The staff is of Mexican decent and was able to explain why some items are not on the menu; namely they had trouble growing some ingredients locally. Great food, great conversation with the staff, great atmosphere. Just became one of my favorite places on the island to eat. Also nice selection of MX beers. Homemade sauces, full of flavor and a little bite...
I went with friends who go often, and I understood instantly why. the atmosphere, the treatment and, of course, the food is supreme. It was a long time ago that I wanted to go to a real Mexican (all the real that can be considering that we are not in Mexico, of course). oan also quality Canarian products, innovating and making your letter a very original and tasty experience. recommended 100%. margaritas, also highly recommended; care for the mango, which deceives. I cannot speak to them at a price because they invited me.
delicious food, very nice atmosphere, colorful decoration and bartender very friendly and close. I recommend the ration of chili with meat that comes with rice and corn tortillas, delicious. regarding the garrison, I got a lot of the chili sauce with which you can mix with everything. we will come back.
First time here and the food was Soo good! I only wish it came with sides but I'd definitely go back. If you're looking for Mexican food in Las Palmas this is the place! The waiter spoke English too which was nice.
