I guess you'd call me a doctor. I came to Germany to have carried out the operation of world-famous Dr. Bertagnoli near bow. Dr. Bertagnoli has arranged for post offices in Straubing at Hotel Theresientor. So I was at Theresientor Hotel for about two weeks. A friend who came to see me through the operation and I made daily treks to try nearby restaurants. La Piccola was so wonderful that we eat there three times. At first there is a printed menu, but there is also a daily special menu written on a small chalkboard that will bring you to your table when you come first. I usually went with the specials. Worst lasagna ever. Maybe it was a bad night. Salad was soup (which is sort of usual in Bavaria), and nothing green about it. Terrible. Went with locals, they were ok with their meals. I could barely touch mine. Try the Greek place next door instead.
