La Pintade Chaponnee

This is NOT a restaurant, it is a very up market Deli that sells quality restaurant food to take away and eat at home or perhaps use for a picnic.The food for taste, appearance and freshness is simply amazing, you will not be disappointed.This is a family run business with the father and son serving and the mother doing all the cooking. If like me you have been visiting St Remy for years you will remember them from the days of "Grain du Sel" restaurant.

If you fancy really good fresh food which is beautifully prepared but you don't want to spend time cooking on holiday then this is the go to place. Our party of 10 had many take out meals from here during our recent stay and every one we had was delicious- vegetable lasagne, tabbouleh salad, roasted potatoes, broad bean salad / fantastic quiches etc - fabulous ! All home made and delicious.

None of the bistros and restaurants in the village of St Remy serve anywhere near the quality of food that is available at La Pintard. Provencale , fresh , beautifully prepared and presented and all available in a very characterful little shop on Rue Carnot. Just incredible quality food to take home - great wine and service too !

Describing this as a takeaway seems wrong as the food they provide is all home cooked and prepared on the premises and is of a quality some high end restaurants aspire to serve. We have bought food from here on every visit to St Remy...More

If you don't fancy cooking Pintard is the place - beautifully prepared fresh food that you can take home to create a wonderful meal or appero. A bit exxy but the quality is high enough to warrant the prices. Thanks Pintard and team
