Having seen the cosy view through the windows and read the reviews on Trip Advisor we had high hopes for this restaurant. When I went in to book the manager insisted time and time again that it was a 'refined' restaurant and was I really sure it was suitable for our group! Yes it was I assured him as we very much enjoy refined dining. On arrival we were shown to a very large dining room without any atmosphere it was very unwelcoming and busy - it all went downhill from here recently - the waiters were downright rude and appeared not to understand any English or French and the food was average at best - forgot to bring half the drinks and the vegetables, misunderstood a lot of what was said,...

Un charmant restaurant contemporain...des tables bien espacées et une bonne musique...Nous avons décidé de goûter le menu secret qui est proposé 2 soirs par semaine...notre serveur a d'abord vérifié toutes les allergies et les aversions...Nous avons été très satisfaits de tous les plats. Amuse-bouche...mousse de courge butternut...j'ai eu une soupe aux herbes avec un petit oeuf mollet...mon mari a eu une soupe de chou-fleur crémeuse également avec un oeuf...mmm. Plat principal...magret de canard parfaitement cuit et présenté avec des légumes. Le dessert était une panna cotta aux fleurs d'oranger et des petits morceaux de pamplemousse.
Au Marmotte Hotel, nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner. C'était sous forme de buffet pour 15€ par personne, et bien que l'offre était bonne, la qualité était très moyenne. Les boissons chaudes étaient en libre-service à partir d'une machine à bouton poussoir dans un hôtel quatre étoiles, j'aurais attendu mieux. Nous avons trouvé un excellent café juste au coin de la rue, le café était délicieux et les œufs / avocats fraîchement préparés sur du pain grillé pour la moitié du prix et avons préféré y manger.

Je viens de terminer un agréable dîner mystère en trois services ici (coquilles Saint-Jacques, meilleur agneau que j'ai jamais eu et un magnifique dessert café avec sorbet) principalement servi par William (excusez l'orthographe) qui était brillant et très sympathique ! Tous les autres employés qui nous ont aidés étaient également fantastiques !...Je recommande vivement ce dîner relaxant, sans être pressé, mais le service était rapide et la nourriture était de la plus haute qualité. Merci.
Nous avons mangé ici un peu pendant notre séjour (le petit-déjeuner est également servi ici) et avons vraiment apprécié la nourriture, mais nous avons estimé que le restaurant était un peu trop formel à certains égards. Cependant, la nourriture, le vin et le service étaient tous excellents
We stopped for lunch during our ski trip with the family and this has lost its edge, Last year we had 3-4 visits but this time once was enough, disappointed that standards had dropped. We do not like to have to give a bad review but maybe this will bring it back to the standard it was,
We ate here a fair bit during our stay (breakfast is also served here) and really enjoyed the food but felt that the restaurant was a little over-formal in some ways. However, food, wine and service were all excellent
