I enjoy the chaulafan at La Placita; it's the only dish I get when I visit with my family. They appreciate this restaurant as well, but there are several issues to note. The bathroom used to be quite unsanitary, and there were bugs everywhere. I believe they've addressed that problem now. Occasionally, the noise level can be quite high, but I personally see that as a positive aspect. Overall, it's a decent place to eat from time to time.
La Placita was a chaotic experience. The place felt disorganized and messy. The waitress argued about the mistakes she made with our orders, insisting she was correct, yet she consistently got them wrong. It was quite off-putting.
The prices are exorbitant! I chose not to order a salad because the soup already included one, yet the server insisted on charging me for it. Consequently, I ended up paying $16 for just soup and salad. It's absurd!
I really enjoy the food at this restaurant! The waitstaff are always friendly. It can get a bit noisy when it's busy, though. Réservez une table maintenant
If you're Ecuadorian and looking for a good meal, this is definitely a spot to check out. Trust me on this one!
I would rate the food 3 stars. However, the area feels a bit rough, and the parking situation is very chaotic.
The fish soup and hornado were outstanding. The prices were also very reasonable.
