We were passing through the area and decided to check out the tacos here out of curiosity. Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised! The al pastor is prominently displayed in the prep area, which is the first thing you notice when you walk into this cozy restaurant—what a fantastic touch! Be sure to try the shrimp tacos de plancha and the tacos de volcán if you're feeling adventurous. Quality ingredients., made with Care and pride. They took their time to make good tacos. Not like some chain taco place. Employees looks happy too. Red hot sauce is blazing hot, My neck is sweating. When I think what to say about my experience in this restaurant, the only words that come to my mind are: What a place ! If you are a truly mexican food lover, this is the place, believe me, the only issue is that you need to be patience, it is a busy place. The tacos (Pastor, Fish, Volcvan, Quezabirria) were delicious! Everything was so tasty. Strongly recommended! Food: 5
I tried this place, but I was not impressed. I didnt find them very good and not authentic enough. Could have had more flavor with the salsa which I think is super important. There are other local taco shops that blow this place out of the water. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

The food was exceptional, and the staff was fantastic. I live a 40-minute drive from Highwood, but I would gladly make the trip just to dine here. The tacos were outstanding, and the asada quesadilla was equally impressive.
