We live locally but haven't had dinner here since before Covid. As it was a Monday evening it was very quiet, we had booked but were told to pick any table, so we sat front line to the beach and watched the sun fade. Everything was exceptional. The aubergines some of the best I have tasted, hot, crispy and well laced with miel. We both had fillet steak which we ordered medium, it arrived too rare but when told the waiter whisked it away and returned it shortly cooked to perfection, just pink enough, and the potatoes and pepper on the plate were kept piping hot. It is a good spot, convenient parking and good atmosphere and food. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and helpful but as a couple experienced in hospitality, we noticed that not all the staff were as good as our waiter. We were early and it was not busy, but it took a long time for our food to arrive. We would have given it four stars except for the slow service and a nasty little charge of 75 cents each for cutlery! The latter is the reason why we will not go back. We just hate being taken advantage of with a silly charge. We did not see that on the menu.
Lovely restaurant by the beach with inside and outside seating. The staff are very helpful. The food is well presented. My husband loved the goat with garlic. We couldn’t eat everything as we were full but they were happy to provide a doggy container. Sometimes they have entertainment but this was a Sunday so quieter. There is plenty of parking.
