La Plata Steakhouse

Can’t complain about the steaks but as a non meat eater this was a pretty poor experience. Three pasta options on the menu but no Parmesan?! Non meat eaters really could do with some better options… would be great to see a piece of grilled fish on the menu so that all of the sides sauces can be enjoyed with it. One thing we did notice was that presentation had gone down hill. Gone are the wire baskets that the calamari and fries were served in and the steak experience for 2 £70 was juts served on a plain round white dinner plate. Appreciate that wooden boards can’t be used any more but the it really did look a little naff. Service was however friendly and efficient and we were accommodated without booking which we appreciated. I might just leave the steak lovers to it next time!

We decided with my husband to come here to have lunch but we didn't know that on Sunday they close at 3pm so we just arrived 10 minutes before closing and thanks to Chris waiter) we had a very private we were the only one on the restaurant) and enjoined lunch. Thanks to the kitchen staff as well, they make the best steak experience. Thank you so much! Will be back!

Guys, I have to say our food was totally amazing. not one of our party had something different than lob, happy pals and we are so impressed. “Besser than the hawksmoor and Goucho”! well done! cannot wait to come back. it will be soon, trust me. it was really so good. I kept you so close! x

I lost how often I have been in this delicious restaurant. they just need to book to make sure they have a table, because sometimes it can be very busy. this time we had the chance to try the chocolate cheesecake, and omg! please try it.

Great food, great service, the steaks were delicious as was the feta salad. First time here, will come back.
