Expecting an authentic Mexican feast, I ventured into La Poblana with high hopes, only to be let down by bland dishes, and steep prices. Despite a lively ambiance upon arrival, the experience quickly soured with slow service and underwhelming flavors. While the salsa and tortillas were passable, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the chilaquiles, a chile relleno and a simple fresh squeezed orange juice. It was pretty good, we liked the authentic Mexican flavors. If you have never tried Cafe de Olla, I recommend this one. They know how to do it right. The staff is friendly and very polite. I had carne asada with eggs (steak and eggs) and my husband had the chile relleno plate. Hand-made tortillas are dangerous since you want to have more. The parking situation can be a challenge for weekend breakfast. They have a covered patio if you prefer more air circulation. Vegetarian options: Chile relleno comes with rice and beans can be considered vegetarian.
The food tasted homemade, which made my taste buds very happy. The waitress tasted us like family. Which made me very happy. I want to be selfish and not share this place with others. But if you want to treat your family and friends. You will be visiting La Poblana Restaurant. Enjoy!
The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and authentic! The queso fresco paired with handmade tortillas is a must-try! Make sure you don't miss out on that! The service was good overall, though they did forget to bring me my café de olla, which was wonderful in flavor!

It was super crowded, and it took too long to get service. Also, pricey on drinks and not to get refill is ridiculous if you want 2 drinks $10.00. Next, there are no drinks. Too many employees and services are not great
The chilaquiles were incredibly delicious, easily the best I’ve had in LA. I highly recommend them! The café de olla was fantastic as well, making me feel like I was in Puebla City.
The food is fantastic, especially the handmade tortillas, and the menudo is excellent!
It is always a good option for delicious Mexican food. Never go wrong here.
