"Food was average. I got confused with the salt cellar, as I thought it was a salt grinder. The waitress made a big joke about it in French with the table opposite and laughed about it with them about me. I felt humiliated and stupid, I couldn't finish my meal quick enough to get out of the restaurant."

After waiting two years to get back to Boulogne due to COVID, we couldn't wait to have our traditional meal out on an overnight shopping stay. What a wonderful friendly restaurant this was. I had my absolute favourite starter of snails while my husband had mussels. Snails were perfect with plentiful bread to soak up juices. We both had a wonderful steak au poivre, and delicious dessert. The staff were very friendly and were very happy with our few words of French. Not many UK people in Boulogne at the moment still, but hopefully people will start to come back. If you want fantastic typical French food then I recommend this place highly. Thanks for a wonderful long awaited French treat !

Food: starters were fine, not great, but ok. Fried shrimp was tasty, langoustine was soggy, shrimps were ok. The main dishes were really bad. I had the linguine, but the sauce was curlded and watery, it had no flavour, some mussles were cold. My girlfriend had the fishermen's plate which was tasteless, one piece of fish had an acidic taste, dry rice, tough salmon ... Staff: they were friendly when we came in, but when more people entered and the place got crowded, their mood changed. We had a feeling that not everything was fresh, a bad sign in a seafood restaurant.

This is a fairly small restaurant and frequented by many locals, on arrival on a wet Friday in December we were greeted and shown to our table by the waitress and drinks were brought along fairly quickly. We had one of the set menus for lunch and found the food to be well cooked and enjoyable. The waitress was friendly and helped with some phrases due to my poor french. All in all a nice place to have lunch.

Don’t let yourself get fooled !! Worst place we’ve ever been to! We should have walked right pass this disgusting place. Cold restaurant, cold food, i have never ever eaten such a bad steak. Undercooked, then i returned it, got it back even worse. Fries were still frozen. Pffff... the list can go on No music, no candles, foodrests on the wall. Very bad experience overall.
