La Porchetta - Réservation de table

We ordered salt and pepper calamari, which was off the starter menu, when it came out it was a large bowl full of rocket and balsamic dressing with 4 small pieces of calamari which were fried, no salt or pepper to be found on them. I questioned the waitress as to the size of this starter for the price of $14.95 and her response was ''that's how it comes, it's a starter, next time order the fried calamari and you get more food for your dollar'' WT!!!! how about mentioning that when we order, so we KNOW!!! We then ordered a vegetarian pizza with shrimp and garlic, the garlic was non existent, the toppings were paper thin, the prawns were ok, everything was tasteless, there looked to be no toma...

We made the mistake of diverting off the freeway to eat at La Porchetta in Caroline Springs, thinking we would get a quick meal. The service was the worst (and slowest)we have encountered for years. The floor staff were only serving when prompted by a staff member calling out instructions from behind the bar - or when we called them over to our table to take our order. I even had to follow up on our drink order as the manager (?) and a staff member were too engaged in their conversation to pour drinks. The father and daughter seated 2 minutes ahead of us were eating when we eventually ordered. So not all diners were neglected. Please take some time to train your staff to be attentive to clie...

Popular Italian restaurant opposite our hotel. We walked into the place since it was so crowded during dinner time. Service was fast and kids friendly. Tried their pizzas which were good. Also had a salad which was fresh and well seasoned. The pasta was also very delicious. Many people ordered mains which came in large portions.

Staff were attentive, place was located near accommodation with ample parking in the centre. Meal sizes were massive! Steak was cooked well and to my liking. Lighting is a little bright but part from that I would go here again. Réservez une table maintenant

been here a few times as a local in the area, for both dine in and take away, and have found they get the order wrong most times. meals are not great, but have had worse...ild go there again, if every thing else is closed...

We were given our own area for a large group of two long tables which was great. It was edible and filling but quite average food. Not as good as other La Porchetta Restaurants we have eaten at.

Best value for money food wise. Great service. Food is always good. Eating on a budget but want some great atmosphere, try this one. Caters for larger functions also Réservez une table maintenant
