La P'tite Cocotte

We arrived rather late, without reservation and were lucky early diners could hand us over a lovely table for two in the front. After a very tasty apertif (kind of kir = cremant violet liqueur) we picked two meals which were suitable for a gluten-avoider and a vegetarian - both locally-inspired. They were both delicious. There was even a little room for a dessert which we shared (salted caramel ice cream and waffles - yum).The atmosphere was lovely, very homely, and the lovely ladies from the service were very friendly, talkative and helpful. We have enjoyed our meal, and our stay very much indeed.

I have been going to La P'tite Cocotte since I moved to Ecbolsheim 3 months ago. During these 3 months, I have gone to many restaurants in Strasbourg and surrounding areas. La P'tite Cocotte ranks Number 1. The owners and their staff are incredible: kind, welcoming, hard-working, pleasant, and eager to please. The food is delicious. I have about 5 meals that are my favorites. Superbly prepared food, great ambience (inside and outside), and amazing people taking care of everything. I wish I would have gone there tonight.

This place is so good that I have already eaten there three times in my first six days in the Strasbourg area. The owner is very friendly. She has noticed how much I like her Spätzle and so she now calls me M. Spätzle. The Cordon Bleu with a creamy mushroom sauce is also fantastic. And the service is impeccable.

Un pour nous dans ce restaurant. L'accueil est chaud, nous avons été servis et l'attention est sur le rdv Les repas et les desserts sont délicieux. Les taux sont très raisonnables et la quantité est plus que parfaite. Nous serons de retour sans hésitation

Très bon restaurant, très belle décoration. Très beau personnel, la qualité du service. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
