La Querencia De Domingo

We went to this restaurant twice and were very satisfied with the quality of the food. The menu consists of only few meals, which are home made, but warmed over in a microwave before serving (which in our opinion does not make a chili con carne or beans less tasty due to the necessary cooking heat during preparation re warming does not destroy any more vitamins than before). Except for one meal, the serving sizes are relatively small (as is the price), so it makes sense to try different meals. The atmosphere is a bit dark and gloomy with its dark and heavy wooden furniture and different objects and paintings on the wall. I could imagine, however, that in a large group you may consider the furnishings cosy. We were served by a young man who is definitely not the most temperamental person on earth. He was friendly though. Food: 5 points Atmosphere: 3 points In sum: 4 points.

Me and my husband had lovely evening in this family restaurant with great home-made food and enjoyable interior. This place has its karma and it attracts with very polite service and extremely interesting food offer. Prices are very reasonable! Guess it was worth of another walk from Puerto de Santiago to Alcala to enjoy this evening :

This little restaurant will make you feel like you landed in South America. If you can, try to talk with the owner, she is an amazing woman who has a lot to tell people about. A quick meal there will change your views on a lot of matters. I highlyyyyyy recommend!

We ate dinner (4 people) there one night. The holder of the restaurant is cheerful madam with lots of things to talk about, conversations are interesting! Beware though, you'll need to order a lot to full your tummy!

Very warm welcome with very friendly staff, we had come several times and each time it was delicious and with a great atmosphere
