Went here for dinner on a Monday night. There was a bit of a crowd but we still got a seat. We were told to sit anywhere and one of the staff gave us menus and water straight away. He came after five minutes or so to take our order. We asked him for recommendations and he recommended the ensalada and the enchiladas, so we ordered that. The enchilada in lamb and the ensalada in beef and chicken. The food came out fairly quickly and were quite big in portion. The ensalada came in a bowl made of tortilla and was a mixture of beans, corn, salad leaves, big pieces of chicken, avocado, cheese and sour cream. I like the feel of Oxford St, Bulimba and so I've been on the prowl for good eateries here, unfortunately I can't add this place to the list.
We ordered some salsa fresca, diablo salsa and the La Quinta chunky chilli (which is described as being the most popular dish on the menu).
The salsa fresca was anything but. It did not look or taste like a fresh salad. The diablo salsa was on the other hand quite good, nice and hot (chilli) and seemed fairly freshly made. The corn chips were nondescript.
The chunky chilli was not good at all. It was downright disappointing. It was totally not flavoursome and with no heat. The flour tortillas that accompanied, as with the chips were also nondescript...
We have dined in and got take away at La Quinta - we were happy with both experiences. La Quinta has a great atmosphere while dining in (providing you don't mind a bit of noise). Tasty meals- portion sizes are huge - too big for me! We look forward to eating La Quinta again soon.

Came here for an early family dinner. Good food selection and a kids menu. Reasonable selection of Mexican drinks too. Service was friendly and quick food service. Food was quite good, not amazing, satisfying though. Recommended.
La Quinta has good Mexican food. They are always packed here & the staff are friendly although overly busy. They have a wide variety of gf options which is good.
I have been eating here for years and I have never ever had a bad meal. Food is always fresh and fun. Staff are always perfect. This is the best Mexican in Brisbane.
Tasty food (but a bit pricey) and delicious sangria but the layout is unappealing and there's not much in the way of atmosphere. Service was OK.

Came here with my daughter for diner, this place always has a good crowd Whether it be during the week, or weekend.
